through the streets of Tralee on Wednesday 18th June, 2003.
Tralee is host town to the El Salvador athletes.

Local schools and community groups all participated in the parade.

Law enforcement officers bring the Olympic torch through the streets of TraleeLaw enforcement officers, including Gardai, bring the Olympic torch through the streets of Tralee. The torch has been carried from Athens and will remain lit in Dublin for the duration of the Special Olympics in Ireland.
The parade finished in Tralee town park, where there was entertainment for all with events such as volleyball, juggling and face painting.

Here you can see some of the law enforcement officers who have carried the Olympic torch, with Johnny Wall, Mayor of Tralee and the commentator from our local radio station, Radio Kerry.
